I had a lovely morning at Selside School a couple of weeks ago doing some observational drawing with the children. I was also doing preparation sketches for this illustration of the school as a leaving present for a long standing member of the school staff. I tried to capture all of the elements which make it such a special place to go to school as it was for me and clearly is for the lucky pupils there now!
