We have always taken great pride in our school community and the love we have for our little village and we think our new school mural captures this perfectly.

Back in the summer term, Sophie came to work with every child in the school on all things Coniston. Each class took on a different theme:

Class 1 focused on trees,

Class 2 explored animals,

Class 3 looked at the school grounds

Class 4 ventured into the village to study buildings.

This means every single child contributed to the final design.

Earlier this term, Sophie spent three days in school sketching and painting the mural, which takes pride of place in the hall. Class 4 pupils were even invited to help paint it, and we are sure you’ll agree they’ve done a fantastic job.

We have absolutely loved working with Sophie and cannot wait to work with her again in the future.
