Milburn Primary school:
A lesson with a visiting artist 
This half term the children have been learning about the local artist ‘Sophie Martin’. She works on illustrations, ranging from animals, people and maps. She has illustrated books, kitchenware and more. The children learnt a range of watercolour and fine liner techniques. It has been great to see their confidence grow within art. The work that has been produced is beautiful and we can’t wait to share the finished pieces soon.
